What is the most energy an elementalist can have, and how the hell do you get it past 100?

I don't know what the most is, but with energy storage (almost) maxed out (only major rune, waiting for superior), I only get over 100 with a morale boost.

oh and I don't know about getting over 100, don't know if it is possible. It could be, just haven't tried to get it that high.

By using the -energy regen, +energy items. I personally don't use them but its something like +15en for the wand an +15 for the focus. You can hit 70-80 with high energy storage, so the extra boost from those items would be enough.

The reason I ask is because I saw a screenshot in another thread of someone having over 100 energy. It was about minion masters.

I only have a lowbie elementalist but from what I've seen so far, that high of energy is not needed. but again, my ele is only level 10 now.

Must be rods and offhand items which give +e -recharge.

Or if the amount is absurdly high....it might simply be photoshopped :P

im at 72 energy, 12 energy storage (base is 11 plus minor rune). have a +6 staff (working on improving my weapons), armor adds another 10 points. So if I were to find a +10 wand, a +10 arty, and boost es to 17 I would have 101. But I don't know if you can raise an attribute that high with items.

I've seen 120 is max...I forget how you get to it though.

Probably a +5 Wand + max energy storage(sup rune) + an off-hand worth +27

Base = 40
Wand + 5 = 45
Max energy Storage (16 x3) +48 = 93
Off-hand + 27 = 120

Max energy for a wand is +15, so you could get to 130 if you wanted.

Maybe the case for wands, but I did find a one-handed cane in Grenth's Footprint +15 energy -1 regen.

solid. so you CAN get 130. didn't know that weapon was available. My numbers were based pre-update as I haven't played since the update.

You could get them long before the update as well. I've had more necro wands (truncheon, deadly cesta etc.) drop with the +15 energy -1 regen stuff than I could count... probably because I don't have a necro.

No, as people have already stated, you can get a +15 energy -1 regen wand. And then you can also get a +15e +12e +30 health -1 regen focus item.

These items have been available since day 1 of release.

was the energy binded to an attribute? if so this would only help an ele/necro as long as the +15 wasn't bound to soul reaping.

The additional +15 wasn't bound to an attribute, no. However, the initial +12 would have been (and no, none of 'em were soul reaping). I assumed there would be such wands out there for elementalists as well, but that I was just unlucky enough not to get them. My guildies have found such wands for the monk and mesmer classes, so it would make sense for elementalists to get them too. I can't say I've actually seen one though.

...and yeah. I use the term "wand" for any caster one-handed weapon.
